About Me
Rosalind Kathryn Adam BA (Hons) Cert Ed

I used to be a teacher but now I'm a writer. I have taught in all areas of education from primary to adult, but for me young children were the most exciting to teach. It's the same with writing. I love writing for young children. I love the magic of a child's imagination.
I have been published in a wide range of genres including a children's picture book, a reminiscence book, articles and short stories. See below for full details. In 2007 I completed a course on running therapeutic writing workshops and obtained a certificate in basic counselling skills from Leicester University. In 2008/09 I was lead facilitator of a Heritage Lottery funded reminiscence writing project which resulted in a book, a website and a touring display. I am proud to say that the Heritage Lottery team are now using the project as an exemplar.
I have lived and worked in Leicester, UK, all my life. I was born Rosalind Kathryn Denning and was Ros Kloos for many years, before marrying Rod Adam in 1991. Please visit my blog called Writing in the Rain.
