About Me
Rosalind Kathryn Adam BA (Hons) Cert Ed
I used to be a teacher but now I'm a writer. I taught in primary schools, secondary schools and adult education colleges, but for me young children are the most exciting to work with. It's something to do with the magic of their imagination.
At the moment I'm working on a children's history book for Hometown World Publishers. I've had a children's picture book published, a reminiscence book, articles and short stories. I've listed them out below. In 2007 I completed a course on running therapeutic writing workshops and I also got a certificate in basic counselling skills from Leicester University. In 2008/09 I was lead facilitator of a Heritage Lottery funded reminiscence writing project which resulted in a book, a website and a touring display. I am proud to say that the Heritage Lottery team went on to use the project as an exemplar.
I have lived and worked in Leicester, UK, all my life. I was born Rosalind Kathryn Denning and was Ros Kloos for many years, before marrying Rod Adam in 1991. Please visit my blog called Rosalind Adam is writing in the rain.
